Anthropomorphic Thorax Phantom
The Thorax Phantom is suitable to use as an anthropomorphic surrounding for several standard imaging inserts for investigation of the influence of scan parameters in CT.
QRM-Thorax comprises artificial lung lopes, a spine insert, and shell of soft tissue equivalent material. The plastics used in this antropomorphic phantom mimic human tissues in the thorax with respect to density and X-ray attenuation characteristics of a human thorax.
It consists of a standard bore hole with diameter of 100 mm. Multiple standard cylinders for imag quality purposes are available. Please have a look at the product section: Image Quality and Dose.
The QRM-Thorax is also available with drilled holes according to CTDI-specifications for dosimetry purpose.

Cardiac Calcification Insert (CCI)
A calibration standard for cardiac CT. Investigate the influence of scan parameters on the detectability of coronary artery calcifications. Achieve reproducible scoring results.
|
|
The cylindrical cardiac calcification insert, QRM-CCI, contains nine cylindrical calcifi-cations in variing size and hydroxyapatite (HA) density (see table 1), and two larger calibration inserts. One of them is made of water equivalent material, CTWater, the other one contains hydroxyapatite in addition. They are embedded in a tissue-equivalent solid of typically 35 HU (+/- 5 HU).
In order to obtain absolute values for the calcium mass, a calibration measurement with the central calibration insert of known hydroxyapatite (HA) density of 200 mg HA/cm3 can be carried out. The water equivalent insert serves as a further calibration standard. In practice the CT number of water should always be checked under the given modalities. If its measured HU value deviates from zero, the known deviation can be taken into account in the applied scoring method.

Anthropomorphic Cardio CT Phantom
A calibration standard for cardiac CT. Investigate the influence of scan parameters on the detectability of coronary artery calcifications. Achieve reproducible scoring results.
In a modular construction principle the phantom is made up of two parts: the anthropomorphic thorax phantom body, QRM-Thorax, and the cardiac calcification insert QRM-CCI.
QRM-Thorax comprises artificial lung lopes, a spine insert, and shell of soft tissue equivalent material. The plastics used in this antropomorphic phantom mimic human tissues in the thorax with respect to density and attenuation characteristics.

Semianthropomorphic Liver Phantom
This phantom can be used in CT and FD-CT for the examination of low contrast details in the liver region. The phantom is also a good choice to analzye computer aided diagnoses (CAD) procedures.
The QRM-Liver-Phantom is designed in a modular construction principle. The phantom is made up of three changeable parts: the anthropomorphic abdomen phantom body, the liver insert and the spleen insert.
The abdomen body comprises spine with vertebral bone and a shell of soft tissue equivalent material. The plastics used in this anthropomorphic phantom mimic human tissues in the thorax with respect to density and attenuation characteristics (tissue-equivalent solid of typically 35HU+/- 5HUat 120 kV).
The liver insert contains multiple spherical liver tumors/nodules of different size, shape and in two different densities. The shape of these tumors can be adapted in size and density upon your request.
The spleen insert is solid homogeneous material. tumors or other structures are available upon request.
Other contrasts of liver nodules then specified are available upon request.
